Job Title:  Order Entry Associate

Reports to:  Order Entry Manager

SUMMARY:  Process product orders by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Enter new orders.
  • Pull orders for invoicing when you receive the Bill of Ladings (BOL) from Leland.
  • Print edits & distribute to CSR’s to verify information is correct.
  • Make any corrections that were found on edits & return to CSR to re-verify.
  • Place completed edits/purchase orders (PO) in File sorter.
  • Scan & e-mail all Customer Own Material (COM) orders once edited to the Scheduling Associate at manufacturing plant in Leland, MS.
  • Make changes to orders when requested by CSR’s.
  • Enter credits.
  • Enter invoices.
  • Scan service orders into the system that are entered in Leland.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Working knowledge of general office procedures;  ability to communicate effectively (oral & written);  skill in recording information correctly; strong data entry experience; ability to work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner; plus the ability to learn and adapt to varied work assignments.  Strong attention to detail is a must.
