Job Title: Inventory Control Associate

Reports To: Cannelton Division Manager

Responsible for all assigned tasks relating to cycle counting and parts inspection at the Knu, LLC Cannelton manufacturing facility.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Conduct cycle counts in all manufacturing plants, reconcile any discrepancies, and document the results daily.
• Coordinate documentation requirements and cycle count observations with outside independent auditors.
• Maintain reporting documentation on existing cycle counting program.
• Review existing inventory receiving and disbursement procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
• Assist in resolving inventory receiving and disbursement issues.
• Ensure compliance with inventory processes & procedures.
• Maintain and update all inventory locations and maps.
• Identify and determine sample size of parts to be inspected.
• Inspect incoming parts to determine compliance with quality standards and record inspection results.
• Audit Bill of Materials for accuracy and determine correct parts are used in the manufacturing process.
• Assist in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by the Cannelton Division Manager and Costing/Inventory Control Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written); ability to resolve issues in a timely manner; self motivated; ability to safely operate a forklift and/or stock picker; creative problem solving; possess a strong attention to detail and good with numbers; prior Excel, cycle counting and bill of material experience a plus.
